The 46th Extraordinary Congress of Polish Physicists of the Polish Physical Society took place on October 16-18 2020. The year 2020 was designated by the Senate of the Republic of Poland as the Year of Physics to honour Polish physicists and their achievements, as well as to appreciate the civilizational importance of this field of science.

During this year's congress, the lecturers were, among others, professor Paweł Olko from the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Science, title of the paper: Positron radiation therapy - from physics to medicine and professor Paweł Moskal from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University, title of the paper: Positronium in physics, biology and medicine.
